WELCOME TO THE INDIANA ASSOCIATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROFESSIONALS

The 2026 INAEP Scholarship application has been posted. Please use the buttons below or on the Scholarship page to download the documents. The Applications will be due back by Wednesday, April 22, 2026. We will be awarding both an undergraduate and graduate scholarship - $2,500 each.

Earth Day Indiana Festival

Below are the details for the volunteer opportunity!

Earth Day Indiana Festival: Saturday, May 30th at Garfield Park, 2345 Pagoda Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46203
Volunteer shifts: 9:30 AM -1:00 PM and 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM

How to sign up to volunteer:
1) Click the link above (or copy/paste it into your browser)
2) Choose the volunteer shift you would like to attend.
3) Sign up! It's Easy - you will NOT need to register an account or keep a password on SignUp.com.

 

We will have interactive exhibits on:

  • Wetlands/runoff: demonstrate how to wetlands help our environment

  • Air and vapor sampling: collect a sub-slab sample in a Tedlar bag and talk about vapor intrusion

  • Geology/Archeology: dig in the sand to find fossils and talk about cultural studies

  • Investigation/remediation: demonstrate how to investigate a contaminated gas station site and have attendees use a PID to find the hots spot and how to collect a groundwater sample by bailing a “well”

 

*We are still in need of several afternoon volunteers!

Indiana's environmental professionals now have a place to gather to build industry relationships, improve general environmental knowledge and have fun... all at the same time.

Baseball hats and visors are available to purchase for $20.00 each at events and through the square store (with pick up likely to be at an event).
